Episode 23: Dune & The Hidden Fortress
This episode is double stuffed since life got in the way last week and meant we couldn't record.
First up Mike and I tackle 1984's Dune. Dune is... a stinker, but I still recommend watching it if you're at all interested in Denis Villeneuve's 2021 take, coming out this weekend.
We talk Dune, Wet Dune (Waterworld) and Stupid Dune (Avatar) as we try to figure out why we're so intrigued for a remake of a bad film.
Next - as promised - we talk about our feelings for The Hidden Fortress and how watching Dune and The Hidden Fortress kinda just make us want to watch A New Hope...
Lastly, Mike and I shoot the shit over the Netflix Cowboy Bebop live action remake, video games and Crushing, a superb album by Julia Jacklin
